3 Procrastinators, 1 Extra, 6 Friends, 1 Bunch of Trying-to-get-alongs Went to the library with Isk, Ice, Petoma and Az. Dragged dearie along. Haha.
We went to eat at Marina Square's KFC while waiting for Isk. Eventually Isk came while we were eating. Throughout the whole scene, it was rather quiet, when ironically crapped alot the day before when we were conferencing on MSN...
Went straight to Esplanade's library after that. Sat at the 'insert name of-the-place-because-i-forgot here.'
Introducing the peeps:
Petoma.
Isk. Ice. Dam pic very contrasting. Az. Haha. Someone familiar playing O2Mania.
Yep, yep. I was the only one who didn't bring my laptop. Not that it's much of a loss, because internet there was bullshit. My only form of entertainment was my Rubik's.
Isk trying to solve the Rubik's.
And hardworking peeps. Or are they?
Finally, a random picture taken. And it's supposed to be like that, so don't screw me.
I like the parquet flooring. =)
Me and dearie went home first as she had religious class. So we said goodbye to them and made our way home.
Bummed I'm sick. Dry throat. Dry cough. Runny nose. Flu. It's a good thing in a way. This kind of sickness, weirdly makes me feel nostalgic. It reminds me of when I was younger.
And I want to JAM!
Went out to meet dearie to go to bugis, even though I was sick. Lots of walking, especially around Bugis Street. I was all dizzy and sick, as well as stuffy and warm, as it was a hot day today. But luckily I was able to prevent myself from going out of balance. Sent dearie to work and then went to the arcade because I wanted to play Drummania. BUT THE FREAKING MACHINE IS NOT SWITCHED ON!
So I went home, trying to mantain myself while in the train. It was packed, but I managed to hold on.
Hope I get better soon.

Cliques
Some people are just racist: Hahahaha. Friends are not meant to be forgotten, because they're always there for you. They're called your cliques.
Should I find new friends?

Want And Need I'm supposed to be working on the problem statement, but there's something bothering me right now.
What I need: Her.
She gives me assurance when I'm with her.
Because I love her.
I love you.

Let's make this last forever.

When Your Heart Stops Beating -+44 Didn't go to school today because there's something wrong with my heart. Woke up as usual at 6.30am after snoozing for 30mins. Wanted to go bathe but i kept feeling this poking feeling at my heart area, so I told my mother I wasn't feeling well, so I went back to rest.
And I woke up at around 11.15am startled, because there were lots of loud thumping outside my house. I thought someone wanted to break in, so i slowly crept to the living room, hiding behind the wall into the living room. Listening attentively, I found out it was actually the rooftop. They were doing some maintenance upstairs.
I observed my surrounding. The emptiness, silence and solitusion. The same feeling I get during the 5 months of rotting at home.
I looked at the table. A cup of coffee plus a stack of toasts. Cold toasts. I was hungry so I sat on the 'couch' and ate the cold toast... I didn't switch on the television. I just ate in silence.
They were still doing some minor maintenance upstairs, and the noise has drastically reduced. As I was eating, some guy slot a letter under the front door. It's from SP Services. And it's not the first letter we got. Since I'm part of the household, I have the right to check what it's about. And I know it's nothing good.
"Reduced rate of water flow..."
"Due to outstanding balance despite numerous reminders..."
The bill: $600+
That could've explained why there was so little water flowing out of the tap when I went to use the bathroom then.
That started me thinking: My family is in debt. Cable bills not paid, therefore cable tv is cut, therefore we only have the basic channels. That means no more MTV for me. My handphone bills not paid. It has risen to 1k+ when the amount was supposed to be only $300+ Bills, bills, and more bills. I wonder when we can live debt-free. I know. Never. Some more my father's an engineer, earning about $3k/-. And what the fuck did he spend on with that much money? I know, lending his friends, going on fishing trips when he's supposed to pay the bills. And finally, motherfucking cigarettes. This explains why on days towards the end of the month, I won't even have allowance to spend on food when I go to school.
The house in a mess, and most of them is due to my father's junk lying around the house, especially the kitchen and the living room. This explains why we only have 1 bathroom in use. Because the idiot keeps the bicycles inside the kitchen's bathroom, which I think is bloody disgusting. Stacks of spare tyres and bicycle rims in one corner of the kitchen + various tools to fix them. A bowling ball rack filled with bowling balls. And most of them he doesn't even use anymore. And 2 hamster cages, 1 hamster in each sitting on top of the bowling rack. Fishing rods at another corner of the living room. To summarise everything, my house's a fucking mess.
I witnessed abuse in front of my eyes. It happened to me when I was small. My family, is not dysfunctional. It has malfunctioned. Our relatives don't visit us during Hari Raya anymore. We live in solitusion. I live a sad life.
And the only hope for me is her. There isn't anyone who loves me as much as she does. I envy her for having such a caring family.
There's something wrong with my heart. I hope it goes away eventually.
Let's enjoy this Wednesday, shall we?

In Your Face Non-DIDM Students! =D
[Fucking blogger made me MIA for a few days because I couldn't upload pics. It worked after I cleared history.]
Although this lesson was quite boring, the fun part was the visit to the IT museum! =D
But before that, here's a peek to what we fellow DIDM students will be doing in the 2nd semester. Lots of practicals, and lots of fun! =D
Widescreen iMacs+WACOM tablets for photoshopping and other fun stuffs! Just for us! Hehe. And don't mind the 'ghostly' figure in the pic.
After a moment of gazing at awe, (the whole class went beserk when the faci told us that we're going to use this lab for our 2nd semester. It took us quite a lot of composure to get ourselves back to normal.) we went to the IT museum, which is supposed to be the main part of the tour.
IT Museum!
We were amazed that they still have these old vintage devices. They should be called antiques already.
Old PDAs and other media devices. You can see the very first iPod player at the top left.
The inside of the PC. It's very spacious, and lots of room for upgrading of RAM, disk space, etc.
Phones and pagers of the 1990s. Big, bulky and minimal functions. Thanks to technology, we have smaller phones yet packed with functions. I wonder how they lug around the phone on the top right...
One of the first few mice(?) invented. Using the trackball. Trackball. Haha.
And this is supposed to be a vintage GAMING mouse. Weird, but it has 3 buttons, and the trackball is on the top. See Fen Ni playing with it, getting high.
First few computers that was created. Very OLD.
This is one of the first few computers that Macintosh created. From left, Macintosh Classic I and II. The slot at the bottom right corner of the screen is where you slot in your diskettes, which is of no use anymore.
And this is our facilitator, showing us the computer server. A very interesting way the server works. The part of which the faci is showing us is where the data is kept. Apparaently you can slot in a few drives, but all containing the same data. So, when one fails, the other will take over, and so on.
And finally, the granddaddy of computers:
The computer mainframe, otherwise known as a super computer. It's almost as tall as me. And from what the faci says, it's functional. Reason being why it's being locked up, to prevent hacking into the mainframe.
And that marks the end of the tour, where we went back to class to continue on our work.
Had fun in class today. Our task today is about promoting a certain product, using themes, concepts, colours, target audiences and our main focus. And the product to advertise is...
CHILLI SAUCE!
Out of all things, chilli sauce... Haha, anyway, we were supposed to do forced connection, getting an external object and force some sort of relation with the advertised product, which is the chili sauce. And we came up with a great external object.
Ice!
Our main focus here is to show how hot this chili sauce is, to the point of exaggeration. And we went down to first floor to get a REAL chili from the Nasi Padang stall during 1st breakout.
"The chili is so hot, it can even melt ice the moment it touches the ice."
We finished our task in such a short time, we had time to slack and rot, and joke, and make freaking lame jokes.
Wayne especially, telling everyone in the team that his nose is flat. And he finds it weird that our noses are not flat, when on the contrary that he's the one that's WEIRD!
That's Wayne, poking his nose, showing everyone that his nose doesn't have a nose bridge bone. Haha, freaking retarded.
Wayne. Big sized, but gets bullied by the whole team, especially me and Azley. Haha.
Mabel. Often mistaken for a marble (well, not really), she always has something to complain about.
Faci has assigned us 3 mahjong paper and given the 2nd task, which we're supposed to finalize our final product.
1st for the ideas that we came up with.
2nd for the shortlisted 5 which we think are the better ones compared to the rest.
3rd, our final product.
We started on our task.
Discussing among the team, while taking pictures.
Wayne doing most of the work, ALTHOUGH he made lots of mistakes. Haha.
Finished with our first product.
More or less.
Azley, who never fails to make me laugh, while he bastards Wayne.
NurFaizah, or we call her FaFa for short, since Izah is already taken up by another classmate. The shy one, or rather, doesn't talk alot.
Basically, our team is just joking around and making crappy and lame jokes. And bullying WAYNE!
Peeping on other teams' progress.
That's Izah.
Finished the 2nd product and then took a break, so Azley, Alvin, Ace, Wayne and me went down to eat. (3 As!) The atmosphere is somehow weird, maybe because we're still trying to get along with each other. But I know we can get along with each other. The way back to class was rather... disturbing. It was mighty quiet, and Wayne went off to play 'Flirting IG' with his other friends. So there were 4 of us. Azley and me walked at the front, Ace and Alvin at the back.
Came back to class and started on our 3rd product after resting a bit.
Our final piece was the poster, but I didn't put the pic up here, because we were rushing up to finish up the last piece, just as the moment the facilitator came in for 3rd meeting (Presentation phase).
Each team presented their ideas, and I was amazed at how much creativity they have, and their drawings are nice! Hehe, but just as expected from peeps from DIDM. =) Although I suck at art... =(
Some of the ideas are funny, humorous, etc. (Ribena Chili anyone?) And I really enjoyed today's lesson. If only all the other lessons are as fun as this.
Oh, and before I forget, here are some videos. Crazy ones in fact. Watch the Open Numbers game, because those who 'kena', will have to eat part of the chili! Watch their reactions after they eat the chili. XD
